The VCB PLC story started off from the banks of Lake Victoria in Kisumu as
a finance company titled Victoria Finance Co. Ltd.
1996
VCB PLC transistioned from a finance company to a fully-fledged commercial
bank operating from Victor House, CBD, Nairobi.
2002
The bank relocated from CBD to its headquarters at Victoria Towers, Upper Hill.
2011
The bank opened its second branch at Riverside Drive, before relocating
to Fortis Towers, Westlands.
2014
VCB PLC inaugurated a new branch on the 3rd floor, Lunga Lunga Square, Industrial Area.
2018
The bank extended services to clients around Baba Dogo Road by opening
another branch at Abacus Complex, 4th Floor, Ruaraka.
2020
VCB PLC launched its Executive Branch overlooking the scenic Gigiri on the
7th Floor (and later the 6th floor too) of Victoria at Two Rivers.
2022
VCB PLC Westlands branch relocated from Fortis Tower to the 1st floor at
the Promenade, General Mathenge Road.
2023
VCB PLC launched its 6th branch in Nyali, Mombasa as its new
expansion, a first outside Nairobi.
